Pulut Hitam is a dessert that moves at its own pace, black glutinous rice simmered slowly with pandan and coconut milk until it reaches a depth of colour and flavour that no shortcut could ever produce. It is eaten with quiet appreciation. It is always, always worth the wait.

This print honours that patience. Deep midnight tones, near-black with the subtle shimmer of coconut cream, flow through a refined batik pattern that is as considered as the dish it is named after. Understated. Elegant. Quietly extraordinary.

Care Instructions

Washing:
Hand wash gently in cold or lukewarm water (below 30°C).
Use mild detergent; avoid bleach or fabric softeners.
For machine wash, place in a laundry net and select a gentle cycle.
Drying
Do not tumble dry.
Gently squeeze out excess water — do not wring.
Lay flat or hang in a shaded area to air dry.
Ironing & Storage
Iron on low heat if necessary (use a pressing cloth).
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
